John Powers

John Powers is an experienced tax professional with a robust background in taxation and corporate finance. Currently serving as an Indirect Tax Manager at Avery Dennison since November 2019, John has previously held managerial roles in tax and accounting at PSC Metals, LLC, STERIS Corporation, Jo Ann Stores, and ICI Paints. John’s extensive experience includes domestic income tax compliance, property taxation, and audits for income and sales tax. John began the career as an accountant at Clifton Gunderson and has a strong educational foundation with a Master of Taxation from The University of Akron and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University.
