Rusty Rice

Rusty Rice has extensive work experience in various sales and leadership roles. Starting in 1981, they worked as a Service Director for H E B Grocery Co for over a decade. In 1993, they became a Medicare Sales Rep at PacifiCare of Texas, where they stayed until 1995. From 1995 to 2003, Rusty served as a Regional Sales Manager at Eye Care Centers of America. Rusty then joined Avēsis, where they held multiple positions including Regional Account Executive and Regional Sales Manager. In 2023, Rusty became the Director of Commercial Sales at Avēsis. In 2018, they also had the opportunity to serve as the President of NAHU for a year.

Rusty Rice attended The University of Texas at San Antonio from 1983 to 1988, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Keniseology. In 2013, they received a certification in PPACA (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act) from NAHU. In 2015, Rusty Rice obtained a Self Funded Certification from NAHU.
