Selda Samakoglu

Selda Samakoglu, MD, PhD, is the Chief Medical Officer at Aveta Biomics, Inc., where they are responsible for clinical development focused on nature-inspired immuno-oncology drugs. With over 20 years of experience as a medical oncologist and physician-scientist, Selda has successfully led clinical development programs for various therapeutic approaches, including monoclonal antibodies and cell-based therapies. They have held leadership roles at prominent companies such as Iovance Biotherapeutics, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Gilead Sciences, and have contributed to significant advancements in the treatment of hematological malignancies. Selda earned their MD and PhD in Medicine and Molecular Biology from Hacettepe University and Erasmus University, respectively.
