Danny Shields

Danny Shields, CSP has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability, risk management, and industry relations. Danny currently holds the position of VP of Sustainability and Risk at Avetta, a role they have been in since November 2021. Prior to this, Danny was the Vice President - Industry Relations at Avetta from October 2019 to November 2021 and the Director - Industry Relations from October 2016 to September 2019.

Before joining Avetta, Danny worked at Weatherford as the Global QHSSE Manager from October 2014 to September 2016. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. HSSE Advisor - Upstream at BP from October 2011 to October 2014.

Danny's career started at Lehigh Hanson in 2004, where they served as an EHS Manager until October 2011. Prior to that, they worked as an HSE Specialist at FMC Technologies from May 2003 to February 2004.

Danny Shields, CSP holds a Bachelor of Science degree in BESC from Texas A&M University, which was obtained between 1998 and 2003. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in 2012.
