Carlos Tarifa has over 30 years of experience in the engineering and software industry, currently serving as a Services Principal Consultant at AVEVA since September 2008, where responsibilities include service delivery for large project customizations in the EMEA region. Previously, Carlos held the position of Spain & Portugal Post-sales Technical Team Lead, managing technical resources to support AVEVA Plant and AVEVA Marine applications. Additionally, Carlos worked as a Senior Application Consultant, providing installation and maintenance of AVEVA software, technical assistance, user training, and commercial support. Earlier in the career, Carlos worked at SENER as a Systems Analyst, engaging in all aspects of CAD-CAM-CAE software development, including data gathering, specification writing, coding, user training, and technical assistance. Carlos holds a degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
