Daniel Ilijev is a seasoned professional in the simulation industry with over 41 years of experience, specializing in process modeling, simulator design, and project management. A graduate of Manhattan College with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Daniel began their career in 1981 at Atlantic Simulation before co-founding Simtronics Corporation in 1992. They later held significant roles at AspenTech and Invensys, eventually becoming the Global Program Manager and Practice Maturity Lead at AVEVA. Currently, Daniel manages programs focusing on Asset Performance Management and Unified Operation Centers, demonstrating a commitment to best practices and continuous improvement in the field.
