David Cox

David Cox is an accomplished R&D Director in Software Engineering with extensive experience in the oil and gas midstream sector at AVEVA since January 2014. Throughout a diverse career, David has held various significant roles including Software Development Manager and Delivery Manager, leading the implementation of critical technologies such as Oracle Fusion Middleware and SOA governance. Prior to AVEVA, David served as President of Citadel Community Association and Delivery Manager at Shaw Communications, where notable achievements included the orchestration of cross-functional teams to enhance software delivery for core business functions. David's earlier roles encompass consultancy at Metafore and management positions at GijimaAst Holdings and Richards Bay Minerals, showcasing a strong expertise in manufacturing systems and project management. David holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Physics with Electronics and Computer Science from Rhodes University.
