Ian Phillips

Ian Phillips is a CISM-certified professional with extensive experience in security engagement and business analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Security Engagement at AVEVA since September 2019, Ian develops and communicates the company's 5-year Security Strategy and oversees security training for over 6,500 employees. Previously, Ian held various roles at AVEVA, including IT Business Analyst Team Lead and Senior Business Analyst, where responsibilities included team management, project resourcing, and enhancing IT processes. Ian's earlier career includes key roles at the Royal Society of Chemistry, where significant contributions were made in strategic change initiatives and GDPR compliance, as well as analytical positions at Bidwells and Crossmans Solicitors.
