Michael Tippett

Manager Technical Support

Michael Tippett is an experienced professional in technical support and engineering, currently serving as Manager of Technical Support at AVEVA since March 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at OSIsoft from January 2015 to March 2021, including Manager of Customer Support Engineering and Senior Product Support Engineer, where responsibilities included field service activities, customer workshops, and mentoring new hires. Michael also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales from September 2013 to January 2015 and completed a PhD in Advanced Process Control at the same institution between 2010 and 2014. Earlier professional experiences include roles at Macquarie Group and Qenos, as well as positions as a Research Assistant and Laboratory Assistant. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Commerce degree in Industrial Chemistry and Business Economics from the University of New South Wales.
