John Richards possesses extensive experience in engineering and systems integration within the audio-visual industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at AVI-SPL since September 2017, John has held various leadership roles including Director of Engineering and Design Engineering Manager. Previous positions include Director of Engineering and Programming at Automation Arts and Lead Engineer at American TV. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Systems Engineering with a Machinery Systems Option from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, completed in 2005.
