Daniel Clark, FHIMSS has a diverse work experience spanning various healthcare organizations. Daniel is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of the Center for Care Transformation at AVIA since May 2022. Before joining AVIA, they worked at Optum as the Vice President from March 2018 to April 2022. Prior to Optum, they held the position of Senior Vice President at The Advisory Board Company from January 2014 to March 2018. Daniel also served as the Vice President at Clinovations from August 2012 to December 2013. Additionally, they held the role of Chair of the CPHIMS Technical Committee at HIMSS from July 2011 to June 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Division CIO at University Hospitals from April 2007 to July 2012 and as the Regional Vice President at CareTech Solutions from 2005 to 2007.

Daniel Clark, FHIMSS pursued their education at various institutions. Daniel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Ohio Wesleyan University. Daniel also completed an MBA with a specialization in Management from Ashland University. Furthermore, they participated in the Wharton Nursing Leaders Program at Wharton Executive Education.
