Ted Meisel

Co-Founder & Chairman of the Finance Committee at AVIA

Ted is Co-founder of AVIA and active in ensuring that the firm fulfills its mission of accelerating transformation in healthcare. He is an experienced healthcare and technology entrepreneur, executive and investor.

Ted is the former CEO of public company Overture Services, an internet search company, which he led to over $1 billion in revenues before selling to Yahoo!. After leading the Overture division at Yahoo!, Ted became an investor at Elevation Partners, known for its stakes in companies like Facebook, Yelp, and Marketshare. He started his career working on strategy and change management engagements at Mercer and McKinsey

He serves Hope Street Group, an agent of policy change in social sectors, as board chairman, and recently CMS as a senior adviser focused on delivery system and payment reform.

Ted holds a JD from Stanford University and a BA from Dartmouth College.
