Kai Wellmann

Kai Wellmann currently serves as Chief of Staff at autone since February 2025. Prior to this role, investment professional positions were held at General Atlantic from 2022 to January 2025, focusing on the FinTech sector. Experience also includes corporate development and strategy at BlackRock from 2021 to 2022, and a tenure as a strategy consultant at EY-Parthenon between 2018 and 2021. Additionally, Kai Wellmann undertook a brief secondment in growth strategy at Thought Machine in 2020. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Economics & Strategy from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Accounting from Stellenbosch University.
