Simon Barr

Simon Barr has a diverse work experience in engineering roles. Simon started their career as a Project Engineer at CONSTRUCT ENGINEERING in 2013 and worked there until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Mechatronics Engineer at Applus+. Simon then joined FBR as an Electrical Engineer from November 2019 to March 2020. Simon then worked at BRE Engineering as an Electrical Engineer from April 2020 to October 2021. Currently, they are employed as an Electrical & Control Systems Engineer at Avicena Systems, starting from October 2021.

Simon Barr attended the University of Canterbury from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a major in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Following their undergraduate studies, Simon pursued further education at the University of Canterbury, completing their Master of Engineering Studies degree from 2012 to 2014.
