Andy Mayr

Andy Mayr has extensive experience in product design and technical leadership, currently serving as Senior Principal Product Designer and Senior Solution Architect at Avid Technology since July 2004. Prior to this role, Andy held the position of Director Técnico at Serena Digital from January 2003 to July 2004 and worked at Discreet, a division of Autodesk, from October 1999 to December 2002 as Support Manager CE and Program Manager Broadcast. Additional experience includes Senior Systems Engineer at Discreet Logic from 1997 to 1999 and Support Manager at Leonardi Systems AG in 1996-1997. Andy's career began in the Department of Neurology at LMU Munich as IT Representative and Engineering Consultant from 1992 to 1996. Andy holds a degree in Technical Physics with a focus on Electronics and Software Development from the Technical University of Munich, completed in 1990.
