Dave Aiduk

Dave Aiduk has extensive experience in software engineering, with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Consulting Software Engineer at Avid Technology since March 2003, Dave has played a pivotal role in the high-level design and architecture of the NEXIS shared storage platform. Prior to Avid, Dave worked at Varian Semiconductor Equipment Associates from January 1997 to March 2003 as a Senior Software Engineer and Architectural Lead, focusing on software development for control systems in high-energy ion implantation products. This role followed a tenure at Genus Ion Technology from 1997 to 2000 as a software engineer, where Dave developed near real-time distributed process control software. Dave's career began at Raytheon Electronics Systems from October 1984 to March 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in real-time software development for communications systems related to the Patriot missile system. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from the Rochester Institute of Technology, class of 1984.
