Dave Phillips

Dave Phillips is an accomplished Director at Dave Phillips Music, specializing in live performance, audio engineering, band management, and tour management since January 2001. With extensive experience as a recording engineer and musician, Dave has performed as the lead guitarist and vocalist in the Dire Straits tribute band, Dire Straits UK, and has contributed to various projects, including theatre shows and music education. In addition to serving as an Avid Certified Instructor since 2011, Dave taught audio engineering at Point Blank Music School, where responsibilities included advanced mixing and tutorial sessions. Previous roles include Center Manager and Course Coordinator at the Academy of Music & Sound, alongside a history of performance as a DJ and entertainer at prominent venues. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law and a BE (Hons) Degree in Performance and Production from the University of Wolverhampton, along with multiple certifications in Pro Tools and audio engineering techniques.
