Dave Tyler

Dave Tyler has over two decades of experience in the audio industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of the Development Partner Program at Avid since August 2004. Tyler's roles at Avid have included managing teams of experts in audio solutions and application specialization, as well as overseeing technical sales for high-end post-production and broadcast clients. Prior to Avid, Tyler was a Studio Manager at Sahara Sound, a Lecturer in Recording Arts at SAE Institute, and worked as a freelance recording and mixing engineer. Tyler’s career began as an Assistant Engineer at Matrix Studios, later progressing to Recording and Mixing Engineer at Westpoint Studio. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Music from Kingston University and A-Levels in Music, English, and Geography from Sixth Form College in Colchester.
