Greg Davis, Ph.D., is an accomplished music educator with extensive experience in music technology and audio engineering. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Music at Pennsylvania Western University since August 2010, Greg is responsible for instructing students in the Commercial Music Technology Program and overseeing the maintenance of production facilities. In addition to university teaching, Greg works as a substitute teacher for WEST JEFFERSON HILLS SD and is an Avid Certified Instructor, specializing in Pro Tools and Sibelius. Previous experience includes teaching sound and recording technology to grades 7-12 at Pittsburgh Public Schools and providing technical support at Korg USA, Inc. Greg holds a Ph.D. in Communications Media & Instructional Technology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Education in Technology Education from PennWest California, and a Bachelor of Music in Music Technology & Composition from Duquesne University.
