Joe Pearson

Joe Pearson is a seasoned professional in the audio product development field, currently serving as Principal Audio Ecosystem Architect at Avid since September 2007. In this role, Joe specializes in the Avid audio product line, including Sibelius and Pro Tools, while contributing to a core team that defines and designs platform-as-a-service (PaaS) services for the organization. Previously, Joe held positions as Senior Product Designer, focusing on feature design and engineering for the Sibelius product family, and as Sibelius Product Specialist, providing customer support. Earlier experience includes technical support at Sibelius Software from June 2005 to July 2007. Joe holds a Master of Performance in Jazz Percussion from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and a BMus (Hons) in Music from the University of Leeds, alongside studying at the University of North Texas.
