John Given has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Senior Managing Counsel in Product and Commerce at Avid Technology, Inc. since October 1999, following a role as Corporate Counsel. Prior to Avid, John Given worked as Corporate Counsel at M-Audio from June 2004 to January 2009. Educationally, John Given earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 1999, a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and German from the University of California, Davis in 1995, and an Associate of Arts from the University of Maryland, Munich Campus in 1992.
