Michael Christensen

Michael Christensen, PMP, is a seasoned program and project manager with extensive experience in industrial engineering and manufacturing. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Program Manager at Avid since June 2018, Michael previously held roles at Siemens Mobility and Grass Valley, where responsibilities included manufacturing project management and operations oversight for major production initiatives. Notable accomplishments include leading the startup of a light rail vehicle project and launching a NAFTA certification process that generated significant cost savings. Michael's earlier career includes positions at Electronic Data Systems and General Motors, focusing on manufacturing simulation and system optimization. Michael holds a Master’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
