Andy Jensen is an experienced educator and educational technology professional with a comprehensive background in teaching and development. Currently serving as a 6th Grade Math Teacher at Innovation Middle School and previously at Pershing Middle School within the San Diego Unified School District since September 2019, Andy also holds a long-term role at AVID - Advancement Via Individual Determination since April 2012, progressing through various titles such as Staff Developer and Senior Learning Designer. Prior teaching experience includes positions as an Educational Technology Resource Teacher and an 8th Grade Math Teacher in the San Diego Unified School District from 2005 to 2013, as well as a Guest Teacher in the Santee School District from 2003 to 2005. Additionally, Andy co-founded ReelFly, Inc. and worked as the Public Relations Director. Academic qualifications include a Masters Degree in Educational Technology from San Diego State University, a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics, and an undergraduate degree in Management Science from UC San Diego.
