Ashley Callahan

Ashley Callahan, PhD, is an experienced Learning Designer at AVID Center, specializing in innovative learning experiences utilizing the Canvas Learning Management System. With a strong background in educational improvement, Ashley previously served as a School Improvement and Planning Specialist at the Colorado Department of Education, focusing on the Unified Improvement Planning process. Prior roles include working as a Complex Area Teacher in Hawaii, organizing training for schools, and as an Instructional Technology Coordinator, where Ashley integrated technology in classrooms to enhance student outcomes. Ashley's education includes a Doctor of Education in Learning Design and Technology and a Master of Education in the same field, both from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma.
