Casey Waugh (Ed.D)

Casey Waugh, Ed.D, currently serves as the Senior Administrator for the Southeast Learning Community at Orange County Public Schools since August 2022, having previously held a role as Senior Administrator at Maynard Evans High School and as Instructional Coach/Curriculum Resource Teacher at Freedom High School. With extensive experience as an AVID Staff Developer at AVID Center since May 2012, Casey specializes in digital eLearning projects and facilitates professional learning for educators nationwide. Earlier career roles include Advanced Studies District Coordinator for Orange County Public Schools, where responsibilities encompassed supporting Advanced Placement programs across multiple high schools, and English Teacher at Cypress Creek High School, focusing on Advanced Placement curriculum. Education includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida and a Master's degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University.
