Debbie Shapiro

Debbie Shapiro is an accomplished professional in legal education and student support, currently serving as Faculty Fellow and Director of Student Success and Bar Support at the University of St. Thomas School of Law since February 2022. With a strong background in educational consulting, Debbie has been an Educational Consultant and Facilitator for the AVID Center since July 2011. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Director of Career and Professional Development and Adjunct Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law from September 2018 to February 2022, as well as Curriculum Coordinator for the Legal Writing Program and Adjunct Professor. Additionally, Debbie worked as an Academic Skills Coach and Adjunct Professor at Augsburg College from 2006 to September 2017. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish and a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law.
