Mike Mozingo, PhD, currently serves as the National Director of Implementation Quality at AVID Center, a position held since June 2013. Prior roles within AVID Center include Executive Director, Associate Area Director, Assistant State Director, and Program Manager. Previously, Mike Mozingo worked as a teacher in Grand Prairie ISD and Lewisville ISD from August 2004 to June 2013 and August 1996 to July 1998, respectively. Mike also has experience as a Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors from July 1998 to July 2004, and served in ministry roles as a Youth Minister at Garden Ridge Church Of Christ and College Minister at The Hills Church of Christ. Mike Mozingo holds a PhD in K-16 Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, as well as a Master of Education in the same field, both from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible/Biblical Studies from Lubbock Christian University.
