Nina Wilson is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in curriculum development and professional learning. Currently serving as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin from July 2018 to June 2024, Nina develops and facilitates courses such as Introduction to the Teaching Profession and Teaching in Secondary Schools, while also maintaining a comprehensive Professional Learning Community for UTeach-Liberal Arts LOTE. From November 2024, Nina will take on the role of AVID Implementation Strategist. Prior experience includes serving as an Educator at Austin Independent School District from August 1995 to June 2017, where Nina focused on empowering students, as well as working as a Professional Learning Design Specialist for Austin ISD from June 2017 to July 2018. Nina holds multiple Bachelor's degrees in Spanish Language and Literature and Spanish Language Teacher Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
