William Hennessee

William "Chuck" Hennessee is an experienced educational consultant and staff developer with a robust background in K-12 education. Currently serving as an Educational Consultant at AVID Center since August 2015, Hennessee specializes in facilitating educational staff development focused on best practices in pedagogy. Since February 2009, Hennessee has also contributed as an AVID Staff Developer, providing training to educators nationwide. Prior experience includes serving as the AVID Site Coordinator and Elective Teacher at Chapel Hill/Carrboro City Schools, where successes included coordinating a college-preparatory program and receiving awards for excellence in teaching and mentorship. Additional roles include Transportation Supervisor at Durham Public Schools and Social Studies Teacher at Wake County Public Schools, where Hennessee received recognition as Teacher of the Year. Hennessee holds a Master of Arts in Middle Grades Education from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
