Ted Markam

Ted Markam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and banking operations. Currently serving as VP of Deposit Operations & DevOps at Avidbank since May 2025, Ted previously held a role as Consultant Data Analyst at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from October 2023 to March 2025. A significant portion of Ted's career was spent at First Republic Bank, where positions included Technical Director, Enterprise Architect, and Consultant Lead Integration Analyst from April 2014 to July 2023. Earlier, Ted was a Technical Director at Charles Schwab & Co., overseeing strategies for infrastructure technologies and simplifying legacy systems. Ted’s career began at SEER Technologies as a Consultant and included a brief stint as an IT Consultant at Keane Inc. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Manchester and has completed A levels in multiple scientific disciplines at Highgate School.
