Sam Read

Sam Read, CTS, currently serves as Operations Manager and previously held the role of Senior AV Design Engineer at Avidex since September 2021. Prior to this, Sam Read worked at Evco Sound & Electronics, Inc. from July 2017 to September 2021 in various capacities including Engineering Manager and Design Engineer. Experience also includes positions as Audio Engineer and Colorist at North by Northwest between April 2015 and July 2017, and as a self-employed Re-Recording Mixer and Sound Designer from August 2011 to July 2017, focusing on audio design and mixing for media projects. Sam Read's earlier experience includes roles as Post Production Assistant at North by Northwest and as an intern at 48 Windows. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Media Communications with an emphasis in Audio Production from George Fox University, earned between 2011 and 2014.
