Christopher Gartshore

Christopher Gartshore has an extensive work experience in the field of biosciences and pharmaceuticals. Christopher currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Scientist from May 2022 to March 2023, and as a Scientist, PET Chemistry from July 2019 to May 2022. Christopher also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Scripps Research Institute from June 2017 to July 2019, and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, San Diego from September 2014 to May 2017. Christopher started their career as a Research Assistant at Monash University in 2013 and as a Laboratory Technician - Pathology at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne from 2008 to 2009.

Christopher Gartshore completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry at Monash University from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry at the same institution from 2009 to 2013.
