Rob McCombie

Rob McCombie is an experienced regulatory professional specializing in CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) within the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as Vice President of Regulatory CMC at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since June 2025, McCombie previously held similar roles at CARGO Therapeutics, where the position included Vice President as well as Executive Director of Regulatory CMC. Prior experience includes Head of Regulatory Affairs at Orca Bio and various roles at Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc., and Genentech, focusing on CMC regulatory oversight and management.
