Ron Smith

Ron Smith is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Quality Assurance GMP at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. since September 2024, Ron is responsible for reviewing manufacturing batch records and final product disposition while overseeing quality records such as Deviations, OOSs, and CAPAs. Prior to this role, Ron provided consulting services at BB Consulting Services, Inc. and held various managerial positions at INOVIO Pharmaceuticals, Inc., focusing on GMP Lot Testing and product release. Earlier career highlights include leadership roles in quality control at Ajinomoto Althea, Inc. and research associate positions at Favrille, Inc.
