Ben Stoddard

Ben Stoddard is an accomplished software engineering leader with extensive experience in managing engineering teams and driving technological innovation. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at AvidXchange, Inc., Ben oversees multiple teams focused on Document Recognition and Platform Services while also leading the development of an AI/ML Engineering team. Prior to this role, Ben held several positions at Lowe's Companies, Inc., transforming teams from waterfall to agile methodologies and fostering collaboration between business units. Ben's career began at BYU-Idaho as a Developer/System Administrator, with additional experience as an Ecommerce Developer at the Collegiate Retail Alliance. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix and a degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University - Idaho.
