Chris Rice

Chris Rice, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Director of HR for Employee Relations, HR Operations, and M&A at AvidXchange, Inc. since July 2018, where strategic and operational HR leadership is provided to support over 1600 teammates in a high-growth financial technology environment. Prior to this role, Chris held various senior HR positions, including Sr Director of HR Consulting and Talent Acquisition at Select Talent Resources, and Sr. Director of HR at Extended Stay America, overseeing HR operations for over 8500 associates. Additional experience includes managing HR functions at US Foods and Daimler Trucks North America, with a strong emphasis on labor relations and union avoidance. Chris holds a B.S. in Political Science from Vanderbilt University and an M.S. in Human Resources Management from Chapman University.
