Christopher Nealon

Christopher Nealon is a Senior Analytical Chemist at Avient Corporation since January 2024, with extensive experience in the analytical chemistry field. Previously, Nealon served as a Quality Control Analytical Chemist at Momentive from June 2018 to December 2023, focusing on the development and improvement of analytical methods and troubleshooting lab instrumentation. As a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the United States Naval Academy from April 2016 to May 2018, Nealon contributed to bacterial sampling and the development of protocols for antibiotic identification. Academic training includes a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. Early experience includes roles as a Summer Lab Analyst at Eastman Chemical Company and educational positions as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at both the University of Georgia and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
