Marc Kanters

Marc Kanters is currently a Scientist in Mechanical Properties at Avient Protective Materials, where they focus on the mechanical characteristics of materials. They earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, where their research predicted the long-term performance of load-bearing thermoplastics through short-term testing methods. Previously, Marc served as a PhD candidate at the same university and held roles such as a drum teacher and a research assistant at companies like Van Hoorn Carbide and DSM. They also completed a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
