Philip Lyons

Philip Lyons is an experienced professional in aviation finance and trading, currently serving as the VP of Trading at AviLease since November 2023. Prior to this role, Philip held various positions at Standard Chartered from January 2018 to November 2023, including Director and Associate Director of Aircraft Trading, as well as Senior Accountant in Aviation Finance. Earlier experience includes a managerial role at EY in Aviation Finance from September 2011 to January 2018, where Philip progressed from Senior Auditor to Audit Associate. Academic credentials include a Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance from the Law Society of Ireland, an ACA designation from Chartered Accountants Ireland, and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from University College Cork.
