Sharon Pearman Wright

Sharon Pearman Wright is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in aviation law, finance, and commercial matters. A graduate of the University of Cambridge with a Master’s Degree in Law, LLM Honours, Sharon began a legal career as a Solicitor at Richards Butler from January 1987 to November 1991, followed by a role as Solicitor and Avocat at Slaughter and May until June 1995. Subsequently, Sharon held significant positions at Airbus, starting as Head of Legal Affairs - Commercial, Finance and Leasing from June 1995 to June 1999, then serving as General Counsel at Airbus Military from June 1999 until December 2014. Sharon continued to lead legal affairs at Airbus Group as Head of Legal Affairs Customer Services from January 2015 to August 2020 and later became General Counsel at Gulf Air from September 2020 to March 2023. Currently, Sharon serves as General Counsel at AviLease since April 2023, with experience practicing in London, Hong Kong, and a secondment to Airbus in Toulouse, France.
