Simon Chartres

Simon Chartres is the Chief Operating Officer at Avincis, having previously held various leadership roles in the defense and aviation sectors. With a background in engineering and business from Bournemouth University, Simon’s career includes positions such as Head of Bid Management at VT - Flagship and Sales Manager at Alenia Marconi Systems. They have also served as Business Development Manager at Cobham Aviation Services and had multiple significant roles at Babcock International Group PLC, including Bids and Pipeline Director and Fleet Director. Currently, Simon is pursuing a Certificate of Coaching at Henley Business School.
