Brian Helmken

Brian Helmken is an experienced real estate professional currently serving as Executive Vice President at Avison Young since January 2018. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of First Vice President at CBRE from September 1991 to January 2018 and was the Director of Municipal Affairs at the Builders Association of Minnesota from September 1989 to November 1990. Brian earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Planning and Political Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth, where studies were completed between 1984 and 1989, and graduated from South St. Paul MN High School in 1984.
