Chris Cheap

Chris Cheap is currently the Principal and Managing Director of Transactions at Avison Young since January 2024. Prior to this role, Chris served as Chief Transformation Officer at Avison Young UK from February 2019 to January 2024, focusing on enhancing operational effectiveness. Chris also held the position of Regional Senior Director at GVA UK from June 2004 to February 2019, where management responsibilities included oversight of the GVA Manchester office. Earlier experience includes serving as a Surveyor in Office Agency at Lambert Smith Hampton from 2001 to 2004 and as an Agency Surveyor at Altus Edwin Hill from 1997 to 2001, delivering leasing and acquisition advice to a variety of clients across the North West of England.
