Harry Klaff

Harry Klaff recently joined Avison Young as Principal and President of Clients to lead the firm’s client engagement platform and is a member of Avison Young’s Executive Committee. Harry focuses on occupier, owner and investor engagement globally, enhancing the firm’s client service model. As President of Clients, Harry leverages the firm’s collaborative culture to build connectivity across service lines and affinity groups.

Harry joined Avison Young from JLL, where he served as an Executive Managing Director, specializing in serving the needs of occupiers. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate, structuring complex real estate transactions across several sectors, including technology, government, professional services and financial organizations. He has completed more than $10 billion in real estate transactions globally, ranging from lease transactions, building sales, build-to-suits, and public-private partnerships. Clients have included Sallie Mae, County of Fairfax, FireEye, Thales, and Inova Health System.

Committed to his community, Harry serves on the board and executive committee of the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and served as the organization’s Chairman in 2017. He also serves on the boards of Mindshare, an organization that nurtures the most promising emerging technology companies in the Washington, DC region and the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia where Harry Chairs the Civic Leadership Committee. Harry also serves on the Board of Trustees for The Madeira School, serving as the Board’s Treasurer and Finance Chairman.
