Jack Devlin joined the company in 1984 and is a consultant, Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer whose principle focus is on providing strategic property advice, valuations and asset management to state, semi-state, corporate, institutional and private clients with diverse countrywide property portfolios. Jack also works with our specialist Business Rates Team which advises many of the country's largest rate payers on all aspects of their rates liability. Jack has over 36 years' experience in all types of commercial and business property and development land providing advice on valuations, acquisitions, disposals, Landlord & Tenant, portfolio rationalisation and asset initiatives to clients including Royal Bank of Scotland/Ulster Bank, Trinity College Dublin, IDA Ireland, McDonald's Restaurants of Ireland and numerous Local Authorities, institutional and private clients. Jack has also significant experience in dealing with distressed property loans where he has provided services to lenders and debtors including asset management, business planning and Fixed Charge Receivership. As an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Jack is an expert in matters relating to arbitration, having acted as both an arbitrator and expert witness in disputes involving all types of properties countrywide. Jack has also provided expert evidence before the courts and at mediation.
