Greg Johnson is currently serving as Senior Counsel I at Avista since September 2023. Prior to this role, Johnson was a Partner and Legal Technologist at Paine Hamblen LLP for 28 years, where leadership included chairing the eDiscovery and Information Governance practice group and providing counsel on intellectual property and legal technology. Johnson has extensive complex litigation experience and has taught eDiscovery & eEvidence as an adjunct professor at Gonzaga University School of Law from 2016 to 2019. With a career beginning in the 1980s, Johnson founded and managed multiple legal practices focusing on litigation and technology. Johnson holds a JD from Seattle University School of Law and a BA in History with a Political Science minor from Marietta College.
