Jeff Jones

Jeff Jones is an experienced IT security professional with a diverse background in security engineering and consulting. Currently serving as an IT Security Engineer and Smart Grid Security Engineer at Avista since June 2011, Jeff focuses on safeguarding corporate and smart grid infrastructure. Prior roles include Sr. Security Consultant at Hewlett-Packard and Co-Founder and Chief Security Consultant at Intrinium, an IT consulting firm dedicated to customer satisfaction and network security testing. Jeff has also held leadership positions, including Past President of the ISSA Spokane Chapter, where efforts were made to enhance awareness and collaboration among security professionals. Earlier in their career, Jeff served as President of Alluvien and Sr. Security Consultant at TrustCC, while also having a strong foundation in education as a Japanese teacher and soccer coach at East Valley High School. Jeff holds a MA in Instructional Media Technology from Eastern Washington University and a BS in Mathematics Education from the University of Puget Sound.
