Joseph Brown

Joseph Brown has extensive experience in leadership and environmental management within the energy sector. Currently, Joseph serves as the Manager of Craft Training at Avista, responsible for overseeing the Operator Qualification and Craft Training department while ensuring regulatory compliance and program execution. Prior to this, Joseph held the position of Director at TransCanada, where responsibilities included managing Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Community Relations for significant energy infrastructure projects. Earlier experience includes serving as an Air Quality Analyst at the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and a Test Technician at Avista Corporation. Joseph holds an MBA from California State University-Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Idaho, complemented by a certificate in Mergers and Acquisitions from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
