Shane Dunn

Shane Dunn is a knowledgeable Safety & Health Specialist currently supporting safety initiatives at hydroelectric and thermal power plants across Washington, Idaho, and Montana with Avista. Prior experience includes serving as a Generation Safety Officer at Tacoma Power, where safety support was provided for multiple hydroelectric projects, and as an Environmental Health Safety Lead at Genie, where workplace compliance and safety training were prioritized. Early roles in safety and operations included positions at McGregor Door & Hardware, Green River College, and Jade Greens Golf Course, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of health and safety practices. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety & Health Management from Central Washington University and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Green River College.
