Ben Leeming

Ben Leeming currently serves as the Lead Data Scientist at Aviva since October 2025. Prior to this role, Ben held positions as Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Yorkshire Water from August 2020 to October 2025. Before that, Ben worked as a Research Scientist at CrystecPharma Ltd. from May 2018 to August 2020, focusing on mSAS crystallisation experiments and serving as the chief scientific liaison with the Chinese office. Ben also gained experience as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Lincoln from October 2014 to December 2017, where responsibilities included planning and executing undergraduate chemistry practicals. Ben earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Lincoln (2014-2019), a Master of Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Bradford (2013-2014), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from the University of Bradford (2010-2013).
